Defending ASEAN champions Singapore were held to a 2-2 draw

Singapore tool the lead after ten minutes as S-League Player of the Year Aleksander Duric finished well after good work from Ridhuan Mohammed.
Malaysia hit back halfway through the first half thanks to Amirulhadi Zadi. Just a minute before half-time, Singapore were back in front thanks to a second from Duric – another fine finish from the edge of Malaysia’s box.
The scoreline stayed the same until 15 from the end as Hardi Jaffar fired home a spectacular shot.
Singapore kick off the AFF Cup on Friday in Jakarta as they take on Cambodia in a Group A encounter while Malaysia face Laos in Group B on Saturday.
