Rafi considers retirement U-turn

Rafi Ali has hinted a return to the footballing scene  when he spoke to sleague.com on the sidelines of the club’s annual dinner.

Rafi, who will turn 36 this December, had originally set his heart on hanging up his boots at the end of the current campaign, a decision which was widely reported at the time.

But he appears to have had a change of heart ahead of his operation, scheduled to take place within the week, and could feature for the Stags next season depending on how his recovery process plays out.

Speaking on the subject of his retirement, the player indicated some new-found reluctance to commit to a decision, preferring to wait until after his operation.

Good Luck for veteran Rafi Ali!
